Plantar Fasciitis Taping

Low-Dye Taping Technique

Taping the foot can provide temporary support to the arch and reduce tension on the plantar fascia. The "low-Dye" taping method is the most studied technique. Evidence suggests it can provide significant short-term pain relief, particularly in the first few weeks of acute pain.

However, taping is generally not a long-term solution. It's often used by physical therapists to see if orthotics or insoles will be effective—if taping relieves your pain, arch-supporting insoles likely will too.
